In 2005, during the conversion for the education system based on three cycles (Bologna), KJU received the support of the Hungarian Accreditation Committee (the top-most Hungarian higher educational quality assurance board) for all its former programmes, a unique accomplishment in the national higher education system.
In the field of internationalization at home, KJU is proud of the possibilities of learning Chinese language and culture offered to all students and faculty based on the cooperation with the Konfuciusz Institute, Szeged.
Our quality assurance system is based on the EFQM Excellence Model: the standard of management, teaching and academic services is checked yearly through strict monitoring.

KJU as an officially acknowledged university of applied sciences in Hungary and the EU, currently providing the following undergraduate and graduate degree programmes in English in the two-tier Bologna system.
The university college operates in five different locations throughout the country (including the capital city, Budapest), with an additional campus in Austria. They employ more than 200 highly qualified faculty members making KJU the largest non-governmental, non-profit institution of higher education in Hungary.
